Happiness

Thank you to everyone who attended our mid-week activity on April 19th. We had a great time learning how to find true happiness in our lives.

We were entertained and uplifted

We were fed spiritually, and literally fed these delicious lemon poppyseed muffins.

We also enjoyed homemade lemonade.

And we had a great time bonding with our Sisters in gospel.

Thank you to Sister Heidenreich for her message
and to Sister Fullenwider, Sister Foster, Sister Shoenroeck and Sister Taylor
for all of your hard work!

I Can Turn Lemons into Lemonade..This Tuesday!

Our Relief Society Activity is coming up, and you won't want to miss it!

Please join us on Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 at the church for our RS Weekday meeting. We will kick off our new RS Weekday meeting theme!

"I can turn lemons into lemonade when I . . ."

This month we will focus on "...when I learn to be happy in my life, even as the world is teaching me that happiness is elusive."

So, come and have some fun and explore with us the concept of happiness and how we "get it!"

Please bring an object with you that evening that symbolizes an "easy happy" for you--something that always brings a smile to your face or lifts your heart. It can be something simple or something profound. We will display these symbols and some of you will get the chance to share your thoughts about your "easy happy."

Prophets of Old, Prophets Today

We hope you all are enjoying General Conference Weekend.

For those of you who are looking for more uplifting things to watch, this Joseph Smith movie is a must see.

A similar film has been shown since 2005 in Salt Lake City and 19 Church visitors’ sites around the world. Now the film is available to everyone and has been revised to be more easily understood by a wider audience.
It is a remarkable story and worth sharing with your friends or family.
For more information, read about it here. If you'd like to find it online, you can see it on YouTube, or Mormon Channel.
We also want to let you know that you can watch General Conference online. If you do not have the channel on TV, you can watch all the sessions live on lds.org
We are so blessed to live in this wonderful dispensation where the true Church is restored.
If you've missed the Saturday morning session, you will want to check out the archives. There were so many uplifting talks, including Elder Cook's message on the women of the Church.
Enjoy!
